Dieses Fahrzeug ist fast 60 Jahre alt und wird daher in gebrauchtem, altersgerechtem Zustand angeboten. Es handelt sich um ein originales Big-Block-Muscle-Car mit säulenloser Karosserie („Pillarless“), ursprünglich als Matching-Numbers-383-Big-Block-Fahrzeug gebaut. In den 1970er-Jahren wurde der Originalmotor durch einen 440 Big-Block ersetzt.

Ich habe das Fahrzeug in den USA gekauft und anschliessend in die Schweiz importiert.

Karosserie & Lack
Der Lack in B5 Electric Blue ist in gebrauchtem, altersgerechtem Zustand. Die Karosserie weist diverse Kratzer, Dellen und andere altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren auf.

Das Fahrzeug wird ausdrücklich ohne Garantie verkauft und entspricht nicht neuwertigem oder restauriertem Zustand. Es handelt sich um ein fast 60-jähriges Muscle Car-Klassiker mit entsprechenden Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.

Es wurde bereits erheblich in den mechanischen und technischen Zustand des Fahrzeugs investiert, während optisch noch Verbesserungspotenzial besteht.

Mechanische Arbeiten & Upgrades
Vor rund 3’700 Meilen bzw. etwa sieben Jahren wurden umfangreiche Arbeiten durchgeführt und zahlreiche neue Teile verbaut, unter anderem:

Benzintank und Tankhalterung ersetzt
Bremsanlage inkl. Bremsleitungen komplett überholt
Vorne: neue Bremsscheiben und Bremsbeläge
Hinten: neue Bremstrommeln, Bremsbacken und Radbremszylinder
Fahrwerkskomponenten und Buchsen ersetzt
Komplette Vorderachse/Fahrwerk inkl. Buchsen erneuert
440 Big-Block-Motor, 2024 in der Schweiz komplett überholt
Dreifach-Holley-Vergaseranlage komplett im Ultraschallbad gereinigt; alle Dichtungen und Gummiteile ersetzt. Eine finale Feinabstimmung/Synchronisation der Vergaser wird noch empfohlen
B&M 727 Automatikgetriebe – die Ölwanne des Getriebes weist einen leichten Sifon (Ölaustritt) auf und sollte irgendwann neu abgedichtet werden
MSD elektronische Zündung – das Fahrzeug startet zuverlässig

Abholung, Versand & Export
Das Fahrzeug muss in Münsingen BE, Schweiz, abgeholt werden. Der Käufer ist allein verantwortlich für die Organisation der Abholung, des Transports sowie gegebenenfalls des internationalen Versands/Exports des Fahrzeugs. Sämtliche Logistik, Transport-, Versand-, Zoll- und Einfuhrkosten, Export-/Importformalitäten sowie alle weiteren damit verbundenen Kosten gehen vollumfänglich zulasten des Käufers.
Das Fahrzeug wird ohne Garantie verkauft.

This vehicle is almost 60 years old and is therefore offered in used, age-appropriate condition. It is an original big-block muscle car with a pillarless body, originally built as a matching-numbers 383 big-block car. In the 1970s, the original engine was replaced with a 440 big-block.

I purchased the car in the United States and subsequently imported it into Switzerland.

Body & Paint
The B5 Electric Blue paintwork is in used, age-appropriate condition. The body has various scratches, dents, and other signs of wear consistent with the vehicle’s age.

The vehicle is sold expressly without warranty and should not be expected to be in new or restored-to-new condition. It is a nearly 60-year-old classic muscle car with corresponding signs of age and use.

Considerable investment has already been made in the mechanical and technical condition of the vehicle, while there is still room for improvement from a cosmetic perspective.

Mechanical Work & Upgrades
Approximately 3,700 miles ago / around seven years ago, substantial work was carried out and numerous new parts were installed, including, among other things:

Fuel tank and tank mounting replaced
Brake system, including brake lines, completely overhauled
Front: new brake discs and brake pads
Rear: new brake drums, brake shoes, and wheel cylinders
Suspension components and bushings replaced
Complete front suspension/axle assembly, including bushings, renewed
440 big-block engine completely rebuilt in Switzerland in 2024
Triple Holley carburetor setup completely cleaned in an ultrasonic bath; all seals, gaskets, and rubber components replaced. A final fine-tuning/synchronization of the carburetors is still recommended
B&M 727 automatic transmission — the transmission oil pan has a minor seep and should be resealed at some point
MSD electronic ignition — the vehicle starts reliably

Collection, Shipping & Export
The vehicle must be collected in Münsingen BE, Switzerland.
The buyer is solely responsible for arranging collection, transportation, and, where applicable, international shipping/export of the vehicle. All logistics, transportation, shipping, customs duties, import taxes, export/import formalities, and any other related costs are entirely the buyer’s responsibility.
The seller assumes no responsibility for shipping, customs clearance, import regulations, or costs incurred when transporting the vehicle to another country.
